A burglar breaks into a house and inadvertently brings to light a married couple’s secrets in this wildly physical farcical comedy where the lights are opposite. So when the lights are ON, they’re actually OFF. And when they’re OFF, they’re actually ON. In one chaotic night, Alan and Sharon must rediscover their identities, from career to sexuality, and come face to face with the reality that their relationship will never be the same.
What Happens in the Dark was part of the 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival where we won the StageCrafts Freeway Circuit Award, were nominated for Best Comedic Theater by the Hollywood Fringe community, and raised $500 for the LA LGBT Center.

What Happens in the Dark is officially coming to the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. We will be performing at theSpace @ Niddry Upper and theSpace @ Niddry Lower August 7th-August 28th. Tickets are now on sale!
